Systems serving the existing Chimney Corners Dining Hall, a newly constructed Facility Building, and a new construction Camp Becket Dining Hall support the camp's sustainability objectives. These projects were completed over a 5-year period totaling 81 kW. They were installed with no up-front cost to the YMCA. The YMCA signed a long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPA’s) to purchase all the solar-generated electricity. The roof-mount system provides energy savings and educational opportunities for campers.
